Cellint's cellular-based technology was selected by the Swedish Road Administration to monitor traffic in Southern Sweden

Cellint Traffic Solutions, the leading provider of real-time traffic monitoring solutions extracted from the cellular network, announced today that following a comprehensive bidding procedure, its TrafficSense system was selected by the Swedish Road Administration. The system will monitor traffic both on highways and arterials in the region of Skåne, including city streets in Malmö and Lund.
The tender was awarded through Info24, a Swedish ITS-integration company.

TrafficSense performance was validated in independent evaluations by department of transportations in Atlanta, Kansas City, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, to provide local speed and incident detection similar to road sensors and the most accurate travel times.
